Since our founding in 1896, Norwood Life Society has been honored to host our Annual Picnic to treat our residents, clients and their families, to thank our staff, volunteers and donors, and to offer those folks a way to partner with us in serving seniors. The tradition of our Honor Roll Appeal allows our friends the opportunity to support our nonprofit mission and honor a loved one, caregiver, or whomever they choose. This year’s Honor Roll donations will specifically be used to purchase new furniture for Norwood Crossing’s senior residents and their guests.

We plan to replace all the lounge chairs in our skilled nursing rooms and in the Assisted Living common areas for both residents’ and their guests’ use. As a nonprofit organization, it is our duty and our privilege to provide our residents’ needs. We would like them to have a comfortable place to sit in their rooms and common areas with durable chairs that are built to make sitting and rising effortless and with easy-care fabrics. Such features increase the cost but are key to providing a comfortable home-like environment our senior residents deserve for themselves and for entertaining loved ones.

Please consider a gift to the 2024 Honor Roll to help provide comfortable seating for our senior residents and their guests. Together, we can reach our goal of $30,000. Your tax-deductible Honor Roll gift will honor anyone you choose and help us upgrade Norwood Crossing’s resident furniture.
