Nursing Care

Norwood Crossing, formerly Norwood Park Home, is also home to older adults in need of short or long-term skilled nursing care. Some residents stay at Norwood Crossing for a short time while they build up their strength and regain abilities after a hospitalization. Others make us their home.

Our multi-disciplinary team includes professional nurses and nursing assistants who are truly committed to providing 24-hour nursing home care for residents with their central focus on each resident’s well-being. Our social workers and chaplain are available to meet with residents upon their request. Numerous volunteers come from around Chicago to visit and befriend residents every week.
