Meet Tom

Tom (8K)

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Tom Lindquist started his daily routine on the Fisher Price slide, borrowed his older sister's bike in the afternoons, and ended the day on his Fisher Price tractor. Tom always excelled in sports (contributing to his survival in grade school). He began his soccer career at age 6, which followed with baseball, hockey, basketball, track and an adolescent spurt in aggressive inline skating. All in all, his sports career peaked with a State Championship ring in soccer before moving to Chicago. While working to receive his BA in Fine Arts and BS in Psychology, he developed a love for running along the lakeshore in Rogers Park. He continued to run until he arrived downtown at the Adler School where he received his MA in Counseling and Art Therapy. When not painting, playing music, reading, grilling, or tending to a modest garden, Tom can be found running on the lakeshore in the early morning or late evening.

Meet Kaye

From Lakewood, Ohio, Kaye Pryor started running (well, something resembling running) when she was a toddler. She was known as the slow poke in her family (picked last for all cousin intramural sports teams) and never really pursued running until moving to Chicago (although she was an avid tennis player throughout middle and high school). Kaye traded in her tennis racket for running shoes and has quite literally taken off. Who knew that a gal with a BFA in Fiber and Material Studies, and a Masters in Art Therapy would transform into a modern day Forest Gump! When Kaye is not knitting, painting, snuggling with her rabbit, or playing practical jokes on her husband, she can be found on the lake front trail, ramping up for the big race!
